1 this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 126 in conjunction with far part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued 1a project title: plumber/hvac mechanic service 1b description: va greater los angeles healthcare system is seeking (9) plumbers at the va west la campus, (3) ac mechanics at the va sepulveda campus and (1) ac mechanic at the la acc medical center to provide temporary service 1c project location: va greater los angeles healthcare system 1d solicitation type - number: request for quotes (rfq) - 36c26223q0598 1e set aside: this solicitation is issued as a service-disabled veteran owned small business set aside 1f applicable naics code: 238220, plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractors 1g small business size standard: $165 million 1h type of contract: firm fixed price 1i period of performance: 6 months 1j wage determination applicable to this project: sca wd 2015-5613 revision 23 1l request for information (rfi) should be submitted via email no later than 10am pst tuesday, feb 21st, 2023, to ositadimandubizu@vagov 2 statement of work 21 objective va greater los angeles healthcare system is seeking (9) plumbers at the va west la campus, (3) ac mechanics at the va sepulveda campus and (1) ac mechanic at the la acc medical center to provide temporary service 22 background tools, equipment, and material will be provided by the va vendor must be able to provide staffing for requirement of all three locations vendor shall provide company uniforms 23 scope plumber: working hours: five days a week from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm five days at the va west la campus, 11301 wilshire blvd, los angeles, ca 90073, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the va sepulveda campus the plumber shall work on a variety of systems such as steam distribution, water supply, fire sprinklers, drainage, sewage, oxygen, medical air, vacuum and nitrous oxide distribution and storage as well as mechanical equipment and appliances plumbers shall coordinate fully with the va facilities manager and their immediate va supervisor the contractor shall be experienced with all aspects of medical facility plumber services requirements safely and effectively major duties and tasks include, but are not limited to: repairs plumbing systems the work involves installing, modifying, and repairing new and existing plumbing utility, supply, and disposal systems repairs equipment such as sewage, water, oil, and gas distribution systems and water closets, tubs, fire sprinkler systems, and showers works from building plans, blueprints, and sketches, to plan and lay out the routing, placement, slant, slope, fall, and proper operation, of systems and equipment uses too |
