The u s army corps of engineers (usace), walla walla district, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely with basler electric co for basler electric field service engineer that is certified and trained to perform commissioning support on esc-2100 and decs-2100 control systems commissioning activities shall include verifying completeness of hardware installation, proper operation, capabilities, and all features installed for each of the three exciter control systems installations
A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made pursuant to 10 usc 2304(c)(1), as implemented by far 13106-1(b), soliciting to a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available this procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures, only one source is reasonable available
